07:14 am: So earlier this week this guy I've had a crush on for several years now asked me out for tonight. I was rather excited and I told him I didn't have the time or energy for anything serious, this would HAVE to be a casual thing. But I also had some concerns about people he was involved with. I told him he had to talk to them before we went out. It went very badly. So I called it off. That just isn't the right way to start something even just something casual.

So I'm still trying to decide what I'm gonna do with myself. An invitation to hang out has been extended to me but I think I might just stay home. I'm not sure yet. I'm tired and I need laundry done. We'll see. So yeah that's my update for today.

06:06 pm: Eeeep!
Ok so I got my part for the Vagina Monologues today. It is a page and a half long and JUST me!! I watched a youtube video of it, well a few really, and it's 8-12 minutes long. For those interested the part is "The Vagina Workshop". It will be fun but it sure has me nervous.

Today my mom called and wanted to set up Christmas with my family for the Monday before Christmas. That means it'll just be my parents, me & my sister. It should be nice. So now I have plans for the 14th, the 21st and the 22nd. I have several more plans to make still too!! Hmm Beth wanna do our stuff Christmas Eve? We can do Chinese like always just you and I then come home and do presents. :D We'll still do a movie on Christmas day I promise. Tho I know Andrew wants to borrow me for Christmas morning. This is SOOO exciting!!

07:45 am: Writer's Block: Gone but Not Forgotten

Firefly, Farscape and Babylon 5. Good scifi is hard to find and those were good. Got into Battlestar but now that is going away too. :(

So I'm definitely on the mend. But I'm still sooo tired. I just can't seem to get the sleep I need. Hopefully I can get some good sleep this weekend and I won't need Nyquil to fall asleep.

09:51 am: Crazy Christmas Songs
Ok so I've been listening to the station playing the Christmas music lately. I've been realizing how some of the lyrics to these songs are just really strange.

Like the sadistic kid in "I saw mommy kissing Santa Clause" who WANTS their dad to walk in and see their mom kissing Santa. What kinda of crazy fucked up family is that?

Or the one song I think it's "Do you see what I see?" where there's a line talking about a "a child shivers in the cold let us bring him silver and gold" WTF? He's shivering bring him a fucking blanket! LOL

Just interesting what people have put into song.

07:50 am: Ok the cold is definitely improving but I am definitely suffering still. Dayquill is my friend and making it possible to get through the day. I'm hoping perhaps I will feel better by this weekend. I need to do a lot of work on creating ornaments for the tree this weekend. Well guess that's all I've got for now. Have a good day all.

Last class was fun with the number of comments on my last post. Now I'm in Databases and I'm going crazy. I HATE being in this class.

Dear Santa... Dear Santa, This year I've been busy! In May I saved a busload of nuns in Angola (326 points). Last Saturday I helped poly_fi across the street (6 points). Last Thursday dreamerleo and I robbed a bank (-50 points). Last month on a flight to Bangladesh, I stole the emergency flight information card (-40 points). In July I got in line at the supermarket at the same time as someone else and I didn't yield (-8 points). Overall, I've been nice (234 points). For Christmas I deserve a pony! Sincerely, Ellehina

03:19 pm: Ok so I'm laying on my couch staring at my database project blearily trying to figure out how to finish it up and there's a commercial on tv. I laughed SOOOO hard. And yeah I realize how appropriate it is for me to be posting about this commercial

09:12 am: I am at work and still sick. This cold is really knocking me for a loop. I expect to not make it through the whole day today but there are some things here I need to get a handle on so I am here. Besides it helps to not use ALL the PTO I have. :) I HAVE to go to the store today too which really will not be fun. I was supposed to go yesterday but the snow and cold kinda put me off the idea. If I don't go my puppy will run out of food and I will continue to have no lunches to bring to work (don't worry I'm not starving myself it just means I will be eating out of the uber expensive cafeteria downstairs). Not to mention I'm not sure what's for dinner tonight either. I also must finish my project up for databases today. I am not certain but I think we have homework due tomorrow in the other class as well. To top it all off it seems I forgot my cell phone :(

09:47 pm: Until bedtime last night this weekend was great. Then it went to pot fast. I came down with a cold. I am miserable. I need to go to bed. Goodnight.

08:47 am: Target is full of EPIC fail. They only had THREE of the Lego Star Destroyers in the store this morning. That's seriously less than limited quantity in my opinion. You should NOT advertise a deal on something you only have three of. I know it's not the individual store's fault that corporate advertised and didn't give them enough but I am VERY not pleased. I knew there was a chance I wouldn't get one but with only three I would have had to have been at the front of the line. Oh well. I got nearly all my shopping done now. I hope to finish everything but stocking stuffers this weekend. Ok off to bed.

02:00 pm: Hello I am Crazy.
So yeah I was browsing holiday adds today just to get some ideas and found something that is actually gonna get me out of bed early tomorrow morning. I'm going to be at Target when they open at 6 am. No I will not reveal who this gift is for or what it is but the deal on an absolutely perfect present is too much to resist at least trying for. Getting ready to go out to Perkins now. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Ok I maybe could get more done but I figure I will work on it more in the following days still. I didn't want to completely burn myself out. I've worked for at least 5 hours on all of this today. And I am way farther than I was which was the main reason for taking the day off. I've realized there are some shortcuts I have to take in order to get this up and running by the end of the weekend. But all in all I'm getting somewhere and that is what is important.

06:21 am: Staying home today
Yesterday realized that I am waaaay behind on my project. So I'm staying home today to put in some good solid time working on it. It helps that there really isn't anything that anyone needs me for right now. So yeah that's what's going on with me today. :)

08:15 am: I got woken up an hour before my alarm went off by a puppy barking. He had had diahrea in his kenel. Seriously not fun. I did manage to get a little more sleep after that but I'm tired and I have 2 tests today. I have an impossible project to write requirements on too. Oh and I lost a button on my jacket. :(  Generally having a kinda cranky not so great morning so far. Hopefully things will improve as the day goes on.

09:21 am: Yay the weekend is almost here! 7 hours and 39 minutes until it starts :) Tonight I'm heading over to hang out with Mike D (lol yeah there are too many Mike's so I use last initials sometimes for clarification) we're gonna have dinner and watch Moulin Rouge, thus the icon. Should be fun and a break that will not leave me feeling guilty for not doing homework. Tomorrow during the day I do need to focus on my web/database project for a while. Then it's off to Andrew's where we're gonna do something Christmasy. Probably just work on some of the holiday decorations I want to make but not sure. Sunday I plan to spend some time hanging out with Beth watchin cool shows and having a nummy dinner. I'll probably also do a little homework and a little cleaning in there, man do we need laundry done. I'm sure I'll give myself a little bit of WoW time in there too but need to limit it to ensure I get all my other things done. It should be a nice weekend. Then a short week next week so all is good. And the stupid project is ALMOST over so maybe  my stress levels will be dropping soon.
